Argentine centre half Gabriel Milito could be Barcelona’s next signing.
Reports from Spain suggest that Roma are resisting Frank Rijkaard’s attempts to sign Romanian defender Christian Chivu and that he might turn his attention to the 26-year old Real Zaragoza stopper.
Milito denied any knowledge of the move at a press conference on Saturday and said he would concentrate on transfer talk after the Copa America.
“I haven’t heard and I won’t deal with these issues until after the Copa America. This is an important tournament and I am focusing on doing well here.”
Milito, who would have joined Real Madrid in 2003 but for a failed medical, has also been linked to Juventus.
